For the 2017-2018 academic year, there will no longer be a school sponsored plan for Nebraska Methodist College students. Instead, Academic HealthPlans is offering access to a student-friendly health insurance exchange called Edusure.
Edusure is available to anyone and there are no eligibility requirements in order to enroll. Loss of coverage under the student insurance plan is considered a qualifying event for the insurance exchange, which means you can purchase health insurance without waiting for an open enrollment period. Health insurance plans offered through Edusure are not affiliated with Nebraska Methodist College.
